In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence,
and his children will have a refuge.

that one may turn away from the snares of death.

i find it amazing that when we fear God, we should have confidence and fountain of life. usually i would associate fear with uncertainty, incapability, powerless, hopeless. but the fear describe here is reverend kind of fear towards God, not only know that God is all powerful and all knowing but also all loving and all just. with that in mind, of course we will have confidence and fountain of life, because this God of ours has sent Christ to redeem us by paying the price on the cross with His blood, and with that even more so should we have confidence and fountain of life.
