“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
 ~Psalm 46:10-11

when fear falls upon us, can we be still and know that God is God? it is easy to say that we trust God when things are smooth-sailing. but what about when storms are raging, and things just crumbling down?

the enemies can find our weak spot, things that we fear of, and tackling us through those means, expecting us to be knocked over and unable to get back up. it is critical to be reminded that the grace of God has already accomplished the greatest challenge in our life and there is nothing, NOTHING, can separate us from the grace of God, for His grace is sufficient. all we need to do is be still and know that God IS God, that He is with us, that He is our fortress. i thank God that He has provided this need in the time of fear, granting me the peace that was robbed by fear. though i still cringe as i think back now, i know that God is with me, that He is my fortress. be still, and know that He is God.
