Growing my bean sprouts

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

~1 Corinthians 3:6-7

can this also be applied to relationships? God is the one who gives the growth, no doubt about that. planting is pretty easy, but consistent watering is so hard. what if everyone is refusing to water? there are times when growth seems to be stagnant, watering seems pointless. if we water too much, can we potentially drown it? i guess i wouldnt be able to tell whether it's growing or not until i check the work of the grower closely everyday. at least one thing is promise, when God gives the growth, it will only grow up, never down, even when it seems so slow.
